A Site That Didn’t Match the Work
CMSA is a full-service architecture firm in Sarasota, Florida, known for their distinct approach to custom residential and commercial design. With an impressive portfolio spanning decades, the studio had built a strong local reputation through referrals and long-standing client relationships. However, their online presence didn’t reflect the caliber of their work — and that was starting to affect how new clients perceived them.
When CMSA connected with Aginto, their website was outdated, slow to load, and hard to navigate — especially on mobile. Portfolio images didn’t display consistently, and prospective clients struggled to understand the scope of the firm’s capabilities. In a visually driven industry like architecture, this was a critical gap.
More importantly, CMSA lacked a digital strategy. Their firm wasn’t showing up for search terms like “custom home architects Sarasota” or “commercial design firms near me,” which meant they were missing out on potential high-value leads. And without any real tracking in place, it was difficult to tell what parts of their online presence were working — or not.
Building the Digital Equivalent of Good Architecture
Aginto approached the project with a clear goal: create a visually immersive website that not only honored the firm’s design aesthetic, but also supported lead generation and SEO performance.
The new website put CMSA’s portfolio front and center, with full-width imagery, detailed project pages, and narrative storytelling that guided visitors through the design process. Special attention was paid to page load speeds, mobile experience, and user behavior — with paths built to lead potential clients to contact quickly and confidently.
On the back end, a comprehensive SEO campaign was launched to improve visibility for both residential and commercial architecture terms across Sarasota and the greater Gulf Coast. On-page structure, metadata, and local signals were optimized to support long-term search growth.
We also built a long-form blog and education hub to help demystify the design process for homeowners, developers, and builders alike. From zoning regulations to design trends and material choices, CMSA’s voice became a valuable local resource.
Social media content was developed in tandem, ensuring project imagery and thought leadership were repurposed and shared in a way that kept the firm consistently top-of-mind across platforms.
